In addition, you can carry out all those training activities agreed with your PhD supervisor: attendance at conferences, seminars, presentations, etc.

The up to date of these activities is done through the RAPI.

Monitor the deadline date of your PhD studies

Annual recommended action

This is a critical date posted since the Thesis submission for the VIVA must be made before the deadline date. Once this date exceeded (without time extension), the student would be out of the PhD Program, without the possibility of obtaining a Doctor's Diploma and without the option of returning to this Program.

Extension

If the Thesis submission for VIVA is approaching and the student considers that he needs extra time to complete his PhD studies, the Program Academic Committee may authorize a one more year time extension and exceptionally a second year.

The request will be made by the student via CAU presenting the application form filled in and signed by himself and by his supervisor, within the established deadlines.

The request will be made by the student via CAU presenting the application form signed by himself and his director, accompanied by the documentation proving the reasons for this request as indicated on the form.
