Summary

This course aims to enable students to develop the necessary skills in the different scientific approaches used for literature reviews (Systematic Literature Review, Bibliometric Review and Meta-analysis.

Description

After completing this training, participants should:

  • Have a basic understanding of the scientific approaches for conducting literature reviews.
  • Know the techniques of data extraction from Web of Science & Scopus.
  • Be able to initiate the systematic review process using the PRISMA method.
  • Know the bibliometric approach (keyword analysis, bibliographic linkage analysis, etc.) and be able to develop it using VOS Viewer.
  • To understand what a meta-analysis is and how to perform it, as well as to know the basic concepts associated with it.

PREREQUISITE
Basic knowledge of writing literature reviews prior to this training, but it is not a requirement to attend. Participants are also encouraged to come prepared with questions or topics they are interested in researching.
