Structure of the Degree

Contents of Basic/Transversal Training. These contents are common to the two Master's pathways. They comprise 27 ECTS credits. These mandatory contents will be given in the first semester of the first year (from October to January) and will have a blended-learning character.

Required specific contents of each module/pathway: Students may take one of the two proposed modules/pathways: School and Socio-Educational Psychology. Each of these two pathways will offer 27 ECTS credits distributed in different subjects. Of these, students must take 24 compulsory credits for the chosen pathway and 3 elective credits. These contents will be given in the second semester of the first year of the Master (from February to June) and will have a blended learning nature.

Work Placement: Master's students will conduct compulsory work placement in institutions and bodies outside the university, under the supervision of professionals and teaching staff. Work Placement will be equivalent to 27 ECTS credits which students will distribute between preparation and work in the professional field. We propose this number of credits so that future professionals have sufficient training to be accredited in the EuroPsy, European Certificate in Psychology.

Master’s Thesis: This mandatory activity aims to enable students to learn and practice the preparation of professional reports and to have the skills necessary to design intervention programs in the different applied fields associated with the two professional pathways or profiles. It will mean 6 credits.
