Structure of the Degree
MODULE 1 (compulsory). COMPULSORY COURSES: TRANSVERSAL FOR BOTH PATHWAYS (18 ECTS Credits) Courses: Feminist Thought: history, perspectives and methodology - Language and gender - Women as historical subjects - gender and citizenships.
MODULE 2 (elective). COMPULSORY COURSES OF THE ITINERARY “WOMEN, LITERATURE AND ART” (18 ECTS Credits) Courses: Women in classic literature. Women in written literature in Africa. Feminist thought in English written literature. Gender in children’s literature. Canonical writers of Hispanic literature. Women in the art.
MODULE 3 (Elective). COMPULSORY COURSES OF THE PATHWAY “GENDER AND EQUALITY EDUCATION” (18 ECTS Credits) Courses: Gender and curriculum areas - Body, gender and power relations in educational contexts - Gender and intercultural education - Equal opportunities in education - Interpersonal relations, coexistence and emotional world - Gender identity: Symbolic construction of masculinity and femininity.
MODULE 4 (required). PRACTICUM AND MASTER'S THESIS (24 total ECTS Credits) Courses: Practicum or Work Placement (15 cr. credits)- MASTER'S THESIS (9 ECTS credits.
