The Master's in Gender Studies: Women, Culture and Society provides specialized training in gender studies for women and men from different knowledge areas and from different professional backgrounds so that they can contribute to gender equality and thus to a more just and egalitarian society. The fundamental objectives of the degree include:
- To know and reflect on the theoretical foundations that underpin Gender Studies from an interdisciplinary perspective.
- To offer conceptual, methodological and technical instruments that allow one to establish formulas aimed at achieving a more just and egalitarian society.
- To qualify and train professionally in gender-related areas.
- To Inform about women's contributions to society, culture, literature and art throughout human history.
- To train teachers to transmit knowledge from non-androcentric positions.
- To train in the prevention and detection of gender-based violence.
