Summary

The University of Almería is joining the #ThesisThread 2025 competition. This contest is an initiative of the RedDivulga (Dissemination Network) of the CRUE (Conference of Spanish University Rectors) R&D&I Sectoral Commission, supported by the Ignacio Larramendi Foundation. Its aim is to promote the development of scientific communication and dissemination skills among future or recent doctoral graduates. The objective is for researchers-in-training/doctoral candidates—whether they have finalized and defended their doctoral thesis in the last 12 months or are currently developing it—to share what they do, how they do it, and why they do it with the public. To achieve this, participants are asked to create a post on social media in a thread format on BlueSky to leverage this communication channel, adapting the thesis content to a simple, accessible, and appealing language. Please consult the instructions in the attached link. The contest will run from 0:00 on June 3 to 23:59 on June 17, 2025 (Peninsular time).
