ABSTRACT:

The IN-STEAM project aims to contribute to democratize school education by:

- Making STEAM education inclusive and accessible to all by defining an innovative and inclusive pedagogical method- ELP, ready-to-use tools, and exploiting AI potential.

- Empowering educators through a capacity building action.

- Supporting the transformation of school education through araising awareness action.

This project aims at enhancing inclusion and valorize diversity, in a truly inclusive classroom.

The project will:

- Design an innovative and inclusive pedagogical method, “Experimental Logical Processing-ELP”, based on the inclusive "warm cognition" concept.

- Create ready-to-use, accessible and attractive experimental activities - "STEAM in-a-box”.

- Explore the potential of generative AI for STEAM education.

- Develop a training course for educators.

- Drafting Policy Paper and Recommendations and widely disseminate the project results for a greater impact.

With a global approach, the project will provide competences, skills and tools to a wide range of educators of the school sector, operating in formal and non-formal educational environments. It will increase children motivation and interest in STEM disciplines, in particular girls and vulnerable children, enabling active participation in the learning process and favoring at the same time mental health and well-being It will contibute to mainstram inclusive STEAM education in national curricula.
