Description

IENE 9 aims to enable teachers and trainers to enhance their skills regarding LGBT+ issues and to implement a culturally competent and compassionate LGBT+ curriculum in health and social care. Within the project a series of educational resources and teaching and learning tools will be developed in this sense.  

The curriculum it is designed to be delivered though a MOOC dedicated to health and social care educators including students and professionals across Europe and worldwide. MOOC will enable participants to acquire key competences such as intercultural, social and digital related knowledge, while empowering them with the efficient communication skills towards LGBT+ individuals.

The Project kicks off by an assessment that explains the way that the Project will comply with the needs and requests in terms of LGBT+ teaching and learning practice of both students and teachers of the participating countries.
The transnational nature of this project will allow the partners to work together and to address an important and global issue awhile ensuring high quality outputs that will benefits countries across Europe and future research.
