PERSONAL MOBILITY

One of the biggest commitments of the University of Almería is to promote and favour the professional development and of the implied institutions.

Promoting mobility for high-quality training

UAL is committed to the mobility of teaching and administrative staff, offering short-term stays in institutions/companies with the objective of improving their competencies and promoting comprehensive training. Two objectives are pursued through this type of mobility:

  • Promoting the UAL internationalization process.
  • Promoting the lifelong learning of UAL staff and their continuous improvement. 
  • Strengthening, reinforcing and extending the links between UAL and the partner universities via personal and direct knowledge in the same areas, while broadening collaboration with new areas. 
  • Improving the participants' foreign language skills. 
  • Contributing to improving the services offered to the university community.

International Week

International Week is part of an internationalization strategy at home between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) interested in presenting TOPICS of interest via an academic schedule of joint work and cultural activities. It is a city-wide event that intends to become, year on year, an action that connects our higher education institutions with the rest of the world. It is a training space for members of the academic community covering cultural, networking, management, cooperation, socialisation and visibilization exchange, showcasing the advances and achievements that are being progressively implemented at the University of Almería in matters of higher-education internationalization.
