Structure of the Degree

The double degree design has been developed thanks to the common competencies that are shared by the independent degrees stated in this report. Double degree’s students will take a total of 86.5 ECTS distributed in two years which include all the compulsory subjects of the Master's in Secondary Education Teaching (Physical Education specialisation), including Internships and the Master’s Thesis in Secondary Education Teaching (second semester). The third semester is essentially used for the completion of the Master’s Thesis belonging to the Master's in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences Research and Innovation.

Students of the double master's degree must enrol and carry out two Master’s Thesis in accordance with the regulations in force that apply to the linked degrees. Under no circumstances, both Master’s Thesis may join in the same public defence and must have different extension and contents in compliance with the ECTS load of each degree.

The successful completion of all the programme contents will result in the issue of a degree for each master's. In any case, once the requirements needed for obtaining either of the two degrees have been successfully passed, students may apply for the issuance of the corresponding degree, regardless of whether or not they have successfully met the requirements for the achievement of the other degree.
