Structure of the Degree

The Master's proposed will be carried out in a year, with a total of 60 ECTS credits. 18 ECTS credits correspond with a module called “Fundamentals of Research”. Later, they will take a second module, composed of 30 ECTS credits of “Training Applied to Research”. In addition to this, they will take 6 elective credits of Internships. Finally, they will carry out the Master's Thesis with 12 ECTS credits academic load.

The basic research training module is of interest to anyone seeking initial research training, as it focuses on the development of ontological, epistemological and methodological foundations of research in general. In this way, it may interest students from other education, psychology, sociology and health science's degrees.

The applied training module is composed of 4 sets (education, health, training and leisure/management) where contents related to research and innovation in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, associated with motivating factors in the practice of physical exercise, leisure, recreation, sports management, health and quality of life, training and sports performance, sociology of sport, expressive and communicative activities from a narrative perspective, will be dealt with, among others.
