Structure of the Degree

Students must take and pass successfully a minimum of 60 credits. Of these, 20 credits correspond to the master’s thesis that must be presented and defend in public at the end of the year. Other 18 credits correspond to the compulsory contents Module. The remaining 22 credits will be taken by students from among the elective subjects that define the specialisation.

The Master's comprises a core subjects module (18 ECTS), three elective subjects modules (22 ECTS) according to a curriculum pathway taken and a master's thesis (20 ECTS).

ATTENTION: Students must compulsorily choose one of the three specialisations offered in this Master's.

The master's is organised in two semesters. In the first semester, the core subjects on the structure and function of the nervous system and biostatistics are taught, and also elective subjects according to the three Master's specialisations are introduced. In the second semester, the offer of elective subjects is extended, according to the specialisation, and students must carry out a research work that will present as the Master’s Thesis, a compulsory subject for the completion of the studies.
