Structure of the Degree

The proposed Master's Degree will be developed in one year with 60 ETCS credits, of which 48 will be compulsory, divided into a basic research module (15 credits) and an applied research training module (33 credits) and master’s thesis (12 credits).

The fundamentals of research module is of interest to anyone seeking initial training in research, as it is focused on the development of ontological, epistemological and methodological foundations in a general way in the field of the Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, approaching from a quantitative and qualitative paradigm. In this way, it may interest students from other education, psychology, sociology and health sciences degrees.

The applied training module is composed of 11 courses where contents related to motivating factors associated with adherence to physical exercise, leisure, recreation, sports management, health and quality of life, training and sports performance, sociology of sport, expressive and communicative activities from a narrative perspective, will be dealt with, among others.
