The Double Master’s in Compulsory Secondary and Upper-Secondary Education Teaching, Vocational Training and Foreign Language Teaching, Specialisation in "Social Sciences: Geography and History" and the Master’s in Advanced Studies in History: The Western Mediterranean World meets the demand for students seeking access to a teaching career in Secondary Education with greater guarantees while also specialising in a specific area of history, allowing them eventually to access a doctoral programme in which they can develop their research skills, culminating in the presentation of a doctoral thesis.

In order for students who wish to do so to take the double degree, the University of Almeria has planned a feasible pathway that makes it possible to achieve the two masters degrees in a period of 3 semesters.
