With the disappearance of the 3-year undergraduate teaching degrees in the various specialisations and the consequent reduction in Early-Childhood Education and Primary Education degrees, future specialisation must be aimed at people with special educational needs in the formal education field and disability care in the non-formal education field, requiring one to study the Master’s in Special Education. The curriculum is professionally-oriented in the inclusive context of socio-educational services, giving specialised training to future disability-care professionals so that they can provide an effective socio-educational response in both personal and institutional settings.
