This Master’s is in the process of being removed. No new places are offered for the 2016-17 academic year. It has been replaced by the new (7095) Master’s in Environmental Education.
The damage done to the environment during the 20th century, which has been directly caused by less than one third of the human population, requires urgent action. Education is critical in promoting sustainable development and increasing the capacity of populations to address these environmental and developmental issues. In addition, there is a significant demand from government agencies and private companies (tourism, hospitality, leisure, nature activities, rural development, etc.) for professionals and researchers specifically trained in Environmental Education.
