Structure of the Degree

 

Time planning chart of the Modules:

The degree length is four years, divided in 8 semesters of 30 ECTS credits each one. The undergraduate degree curriculum is organised in a total of thirteen modules, including basic training, 11 modules of compulsory courses, 1 module of elective courses, work placement and undergraduate dissertation.

  • The module 1, Basic Training, comprises basic contents common for all the degrees of the Economics and Business branch. They are taught during the first year of the Degree.
  • The modules 2 and 3 comprise subjects that expand basic training and that are also common for all the degrees of the Economics and Business branch. They are taught during the second year of the Degree.
  • The modules 4 to 11 comprise different specific subjects of the Degree in Economics. They are taught throughout the second, third and fourth years of the Degree.
  • The module 12 includes the elective nature of the degree, as an alternative for the recognition established in article 12.8 of the Royal Decree 1393/2007. It is taught in the fourth year of the Degree.
  • The module 13, Professional Projection, includes the carrying-out of a compulsory Undergraduate Dissertation. Additionally, this module includes Work Placement planned for the fourth year of the Degree. Students who do not carry out this work placement, must take a compulsory course which provides with similar competencies and that is taught also in the fourth year of the Degree.
