Structure of the Degree

The general outline of the training proposal starts from a common core of 120 ECTS of basic training and of the Industrial Branch. Then, students take the 60 ECTS credits required for obtaining the Electrical Specific Technology competencies. Then, students receive an intensification of the subjects related with the Renewable Energies field.

(ATTENTION: it is compulsory to take the 'Technology in Renewable Energies Technology Module' to obtain the degree. At least, they must take 21 ECTS out of the 30 included in the mentioned module).

 

  • Module 1: Basic Training Module,(60 credits)
  • Module 2: Common Training of Industrial Branch, (60 credits)
  • Module 3: Electrical Specific Technology, (60 credits).
  • Module 4: Internships, (12 credits).
  • Module 5: Bachelor's Dissertation, (12 credits).
  • Module 6: Elective, (6 credits).
  • Module 7: Technology in Renewable Energies, (30 credits).

The basic training module is taught during the first, second and third semesters of the first and second years. In the first year (second semester), second year (third and fourth semesters), and fourth year (eight semester) the 60 credits of common training of industrial branch are taught. The Electrical Specific Technology Module is taught between the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eight semesters.

Elective:

Students of this bachelor's degree may complete their elective academic load in the following manner:

  • Proving their participation in cultural, sports, student representation, supportive and collaborative activities as it is set out in article 12.8 of the Royal Decree 1393/2007 with the limits established in such regulations, and in accordance with the procedure established in the Credit Recognition and Transfer Rules of the University of Almeria up to 6 ECTS.
  • In case of the previous option is not taken, in fourth year (seventh or eighth semester), students will choose among those subjects offered until completing the credits required in the Bachelor's Degree.

Finally, the Internships Module (12 ECTS) will be carried out in the last two semesters. This module will be compulsory for the student.

To adjust the credit distribution in the semesters of Fourth year (7th and 8th), and keeping a structure of 30 ECTS in each one, the 12 ECTS Internships Module is annual and also the Elective Module.

The Bachelor's Dissertation (12 ECTS) is carried out in the eight semester.
