Structure of the Degree

 

  • Basic Module: 60 ECTS credits.
  • Fundamental Module: 126 ECTS credits.
  • Further Module: 24 ECTS credits.
  • Project Module and Undergraduate Dissertation: 18 ECTS credits.
  • Elective Module, (to be chosen among 36 credits): 12 ECTS credits.

Time planning organisation chart of the modules:

  • The Basic Module is fully taken the first year of the Degree.
  • The courses of the Fundamental Module are taught in the remaining years according to their complexity and the need of previous knowledge of other courses.
  • The Further Module is taught between the third and fourth years.
  • Elective Courses are offered in the 4th year. Students must take 12 credits, and may choose among the courses offered as Elective (including Work Placement, which is offered as an additional elective).
  • The Project and Undergraduate Dissertation Module is carried out at the end of the Degree so that the Writing and Implementing Projects course is taken in the first semester of the fourth year. To defend the Undergraduate Dissertation, all the courses of the three first years as well as the first semester of fourth year must be successfully passed.
