These studies provide adequate training to cover the needs of Industry and the Administration in the field of Industrial and Automated Electronics.

The bachelor's degree aims to train specialists capable of carrying out numerous professional activities such as developing industrial control and automation systems, robotic systems, and analogue, digital and electronic output instruments.

They will be able to design and program equipment used in installations (electrical, air conditioning, fluids, etc.), model systems and maintain industrial processes and installations.

Suggested profile for newly enrolled students

The recommended applicant profile of the degree is oriented towards those students who have studied or come from the Science and Technology branch of Upper Secondary Education and related Higher Level Vocational Training Technicians.

The students shall have adequate prior training in mathematics and physics, appropriate to their previous studies. The ability to observe and analyze, ability and speed for numerical calculation and resolution of quantifiable problems, as well as logical and abstract reasoning are also very important. The ability to establish relationships between the observed reality and its description using mathematical models is also a very desirable attribute.

The personal attitudes of initiative, capacity for team work, personal organization of work, the ability to work under pressure, leadership, and taking responsibility and an interest in the practical application of knowledge to solve real problems are all highly appreciated. Finally, manual skill in the handling of instruments or equipment will be widely used during and after studies.

DOUBLE DEGREE IN INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING from the UAL and Laurea in Ingegneria dell'Automazione Industriale by the University of Brescia (Italy).

This bachelor's degree forms part of the joint studies programme "Mechatronics for industrial automation", developed by the University of Almeria and the Universita degli Studi di Brescia (Italy).

This double degree allows its students to obtain both bachelor's degrees in 5 years.
