Mi interés principal es el
estudio de los procesos facilitatorios e inhibitorios
en la atención visual, tanto en personas normales como pacientes que presentan
diversas patologías neurológicas. Por ejemplo, actualmente estoy desarrollando
programas de investigación acerca de los déficit atencionales que presentan
pacientes con demencias del tipo Alzheimer, pacientes
con neglect visual, y pacientes esquizofrénicos.
My main research interests
involve the study of facilitatory and inhibitory processing in visual attention
with both normals and neurological patients. For
instance, currently I'm conducting some research concerning inhibitory deficits
in dementia of the Alzheimer's type, visual neglect, and schizophrenia.
