Research

I am mainly interested on Algebraic Topology, Homological Algebra and Group Theory. On the other hand, I would like to know more about Motivic Homotopy Theory, K-Theory, Operads and String and Brane Topology.

Current research groups and projects:

  • Project "Estructuras homotópicas de nivel superior", supported by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science under MEC-FEDER grant MTM2007-63277. It is coordinated by C. Casacuberta (U. Barcelona). Our group participates in the Ingenio Mathematica i-MATH project.
  • Grup de Recerca en Geometria i Topologia Algebraica, AGAUR (2009 SGR 119). See the old web of the Barcelona Algebraic Topology Group.
  • Group "Geometría y Topología Universidad de Málaga" supported by the Junta de Andalucía (CEC-Junta de Andalucía, grant FQM-213).
  • Project "Métodos geométricos y topológicos en economía, física aplicada y robótica" (P07-FQM-02863), coordinated by Antonio Viruel (U. Málaga).
