as visiting scientist in the group of Paul J. Chirik where he stayed seven months until he was called in 2007 to teach at Universidad de Almería, where he currently is. In 2008 began a fruitful collaboration with Prof. Frank Breher group, that has crystallized in several scientific stays in the recently created Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). IFN has recently (January 2011) been promoted to professor of Organic Chemistry in Universidad de Almería, where he desires to develope new transition metals and lanthanides architectures, get deep insight into the synthesis, structure, bonding and reactivity towards new catalytic processes.
